The Friends of Ashridge

The Friends are a group of people who support the Ashridge Estate in two main ways. We raise funds to make donations to the Estate and provide volunteers to help the Estate staff maintain and improve the property. We also try to promote knowledge and enjoyment of Ashridge to the wider population.

The Friends are supported by a Committee (main contact details below) and by others who organise particular events. We produce a Newsletter twice a year, in spring and autumn, which goes to all our members.

Members can join either by paying an annual subscription or by becoming a regular volunteer. This addresses the two main elements of our contribution to Ashridge.

Volunteers working on the Estate undertake various tasks set by the Estate staff. Each group has a Group Organiser who is the contact person for any volunteer. They will be able to supply information as to meeting dates and times. The  groups are:
